The decor is simple but attractive. Wij komen absoluut terug wanneer we weer in Amsterdam zijn! There is even a very nice restaurant within the same building - I can highly recommend it! Ook de badkamer was geheel vernieuwd en erg comfortabel. The hotel's central location allowed us to seamlessly dive into Amsterdam's vibrant urban scene, while also providing a serene and comfortable haven to unwind.

Het personeel was bij aankomst super behulpzaam, wat de check-in erg makkelijk maakte.

Lock in a great price for hotel calisto - rated 8. Definitely recommended. Het restaurant beneden serveert voortreffelijke Italiaanse gerechten met heerlijke natuur wijnen; absoluut een aanrader! Excellent location — rated 9. Ondanks de bruisende omgeving hebben we een heerlijke nachtrust gehad.

De kamer is stijlvol ingericht en voorziet in al je behoeften. Pleasant rooms; the Coco-Mat beds are top notch, you can choose from two pillows, the bathroom is clean and there's a nice large rain shower. The hotel is very centrally located: in the middle of the city between all the beautiful things that Amsterdam has to offer. We would highly recommended this place!

Heerlijke bedden!

The room was cozy and spacious with a great bed. Het hotel was net verbouwd dus het rook er nog heerlijk fris en schoon. We hebben heerlijk geslapen in het riante bed. We are already looking forward to returning!

While the area offers a lot of places to eat and drink, the standout is undeniably the exquisite Callisto restaurant located on the ground floor. Koffie krijg je van het huis en die haal je bij een leuk zaakje aan de overkant. The rooms were a real treat — not only were they impeccably clean and aesthetically pleasing, but they also offered a wonderful view to the lively Haarlemmerstraat.

We also appreciated the thoughtful selection of furniture and the luxuriously soft sheets. Also the location we found a big plus; in a really beautiful old yet vibrant Amsterdam neighborhood, with loads of fun shops around. Diana's review of August 8, turns out to be a belated review of the old hotel. Er is geen receptie oid dus het is echt voor een short stay.

Restaurant Calisto is underneath where you can start your evening with a fantastic, proper Italian dinner and natural wine. Their cozy and nicely designed room has everything you need, the bed and shower are very comfortable, and to finish off your stay you can get a free coffee at the neighbors with a coupon. We can wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Callisto to anyone seeking the quintessential Amsterdam experience.
